Science Symposium: Fisheries Management as Climate Action – Our Fish Events at UN Ocean Conference, Lisbon
Watch the video recording
Watch Our Fish, the University of British Columbia’s Professor Rashid Sumaila and leading fisheries and marine scientists and economists from around the world to explore the connection between fisheries management and action on the climate and biodiversity emergency. The scientists presented a series of papers, recently published in the research topic “How Overfishing Handicaps Resilience of Marine Resources Under Climate Change” in Frontiers in Marine Science, to illustrate how governments can adopt measures that improve fisheries management and contribute to the restoration of ocean health and climate mitigation and adaptation.
